The Vice President (VP) is the second most senior leader of Girls With Guts (GWG), after the President. The VP will assume the responsibilities of the President in the event that the President is unable to serve, in the short and/or long term. The VP assists with overseeing daily operations, manages staff/volunteers, and ensures programs are effective. They also build relationships within the GWG community.

The Director of Development is a member of the Board of Directors for Girls With Guts (GWG). The Director of Development is responsible for building and executing the development plan for GWG. This includes overseeing the organization’s fundraising and relationships with GWG’s partners as well as managing all donations and grants.

The Director of Communications is a member of the Board of Directors for Girls With Guts (GWG). They are responsible for overseeing the flow of communication and information between GWG and the public. This includes managing communications within the organization, directing marketing and public relations campaigns, and managing all GWG social media.

The Director of Programs is a member of the Board of Directors for Girls With Guts (GWG). The Director of Programs oversees the planning, promotion, implementation, and evaluation of non-event based programs. This includes managing program team members and ensuring all GWG programs operate on within budget and on time.

The Events Chairperson is responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of Girls With Guts’ (GWG) events. This position will focus on the creation and execution of GWG retreats, newbie and annual, although may assist with other event aspects. They will work closely with the Director of Events and the Event Operations Lead.

The Event Operations Lead works closely with the Director of Events, assisting with all aspects of events from initial planning stages to execution. They ensure all activities are organized, efficient, and within budget. The Event Operations Lead will focus on the creation and execution of GWG retreats, although may assist with other event aspects.

The Forum Moderator ensures a positive and productive online community in the Girls With Guts’ forum by monitoring content, enforcing rules, resolving conflicts, and fostering engagement in the forum. Consistently serves as a positive role model for GWG, demonstrating positive behavior and actions in their online presence.

The Love Your Guts Mail Chairperson is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the Love Your Guts Mail Program. This position will focus on sending notes of love and encouragement to Girls With Guts members.

The Grant Writer is responsible for finding funding opportunities for the organization and writing polished proposals to earn grant money. These proposals must benefit the growth of the organization and respective programs. They will be responsible for researching, writing and coordinating the grant application process.
