Kindred Box is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States founded in 2019. We collect and distribute donated ostomy supplies to aid individuals facing financial difficulties who lack adequate health insurance coverage.Our mission is to raise awareness about the expense of vital medical supplies for ostomates, promote understanding, create solutions, and encourage the donation of new ostomy supplies to reduce medical waste.
Kindred Box accepts all types of adult or pediatric ostomy pouching systems (colostomy, ileostomy, urostomy) that are new and not expired. Additionally, we collect fistula and wound care supplies. Also needed are unopened ostomy accessories such as stoma paste, barrier rings, adhesive spray/wipes, barrier sheets, ostomy deodorant, barrier strips, etc.
NOTE: When packing supplies, please leave products in their original boxes. This helps us keep track of expiration dates and prevents damage during shipment.
