Hi! My name is Ronda and I live in southeastern Wisconsin. I have 2 adult children; Savanah is 27 and was diagnosed with UC at 20 years old and my son, Paul is 23. I am also an Ama(Grandma) to Isaac who is 2 ½ and is the love of my life! (don’t tell my hubs) We have a Bearded Dragon named Malcolm who is sweet except when he is being judgemental.
I found out about GWG right before the 2nd retreat. (Texas retreat) Before that I had never met(that I know of) other people with IBD and definitely did not know anyone that had an ostomy or J pouch.(again, that I know of)(since then I have had a temporary ostomy and currently an S pouch)
I wanted to help out with GWG in some fashion to be able to ‘give back’ to this group and all the ways that this group has helped me.
I love spending time with my grandson, hiking, biking(recumbent trike), crocheting, loom knitting, camping and gardening!
