Hi! My name is Ashleigh and I live with my husband and two cats in sunny Florida. I currently work as a Psychiatric Provider Assistant at my local hospital and am also a Master of Social Work student at Florida State University. My ultimate goal is to obtain my license and work as a therapist specializing in treating clients with chronic illness.
I found Girls With Guts shortly after being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in 2018.
I decided to volunteer with Girls With Guts because I wanted to give back to the community of women who had helped me so much. I am very excited to be working with the Facebook forum as this is where I found the bulk of the support I needed during the time following my diagnosis.
In my spare time I like going to the beach, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
