To celebrate 10 Years of GWG, we will be spending an entire weekend celebrating! To culminate our weekend, we will toast to YOU with a 20’s inspired gala at the Mutter Museum hosted by our very favorite GI – Dr. Neilanjan Nandi!
To make our celebration extra special, we are inviting sponsors, donors, and partners who have helped support our mission throughout the years to purchase a ticket. We are so excited to celebrate with the community that has made GWG grow from an idea to a living, breathing, sisterhood.

There are multiple transit options within Philadelphia and connecting other cities like NY including SEPTA, PATCO, and AMTRAK.
Unfortunately, there is not a parking lot associated with the Mutter. There are 2 lots that you can pay to park in directly next to and behind the building. There is also metered on-street parking on many streets surrounding the Museum. There are also multiple transit options including SEPTA, PATCO, and AMTRAK.
We are discussing hotel options and we will update the FAQ with more information when we have it.

This is a semi-formal event with an encouraged 20’s attire. With that said, we welcome anything you feel most comfortable in!

Our very favorite GI – Dr. Neilanjan Nandi will be our program Emcee for the evening! 
Neilanjan Nandi, MD, FACP is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center who specializes in Crohn’s & Ulcerative Colitis.
Dr. Nandi is an active member of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation and a proud Girls With Guts faculty ambassador. He spends his free time with his wife participating in fitness and nutrition events. You can learn more about his escapades on Twitter & FB @FITWITMD.
The closest medical center to the Mutter Museum where we will be having the Gala is Penn Emergency Medicine HUP.
We will have 2-3 food stations that will serve:

Each guest will also receive two drink tickets for either alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages! After that, a cash bar will be available.
We have chosen a menu to try and accommodate all diets/be IBD/ostomy friendly – however, we can’t guarantee that all dietary restrictions or needs will be addressed.

This event is open to individuals who have helped to support our mission over the last ten years.
Given the continued concerns with COVID-19 and its evolving variants, GWG’s Board is taking precautions to ensure the safety of all attendees at the Celebration Weekend. To mitigate risk we will provide hand sanitizer, and masks during the Celebration for those who wish to utilize them. As part of registration, we will also be asking all attendees to sign a Health and Safety Waiver and an assumption of risk.
This waiver asks that those attending have or will receive full COVID-19 vaccination (we consider two weeks after the second dose in a two-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or two weeks after a single dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s to be fully vaccinated) or to test within 72 hours of attending the weekend.
Additionally, this waiver will ask that those attending the Celebration acknowledge that COVID-19 and its variants are highly contagious and that a risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where there are people in attendance. Risk of exposure at the Celebration may result from action and inaction of others who are also attending the weekend or the end of weekend Gala.
The Mutter Museum does not allow photography of their exhibits.
If you need to cancel, please contact us at info@girlswithguts.org and we will provide you with a donation receipt for the full amount of your registration fee. Unfortunately, due to planning and deposits there are NO direct refunds for this event. Sorry, no exceptions.
