GWG Chapternoon: Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman

May 17 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us Sunday, May 17th at 6PM EST/3PM PST for our Chapternoon book club meeting! This session will be a moderated group discussion space designed to deepen connection and reflection alongside our current book selection. Our facilitator (and favorite OG GWG), Amy, will help guide conversation.

Chapternoon is intended to be a low-pressure, come-as-you-are conversation, offering room to process themes from the book through the lens of living with chronic illness. You’re welcome to listen, share, or pop in however feels best for you!

As a nod to Mental Health Awareness Month, we will be reading Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman!

“Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine follows Eleanor, a socially isolated woman who lives by rigid routines and insists she’s perfectly fine—until small disruptions begin to crack her carefully constructed world. As unexpected friendships form and buried trauma surfaces, Eleanor is forced to confront the loneliness and past pain she has long avoided. With dry humor and deep compassion, the novel explores mental health, healing, and how genuine human connection can slowly lead someone back to themselves.”

You do not need to finish the book to attend. This space is about connection, not completion.

For this session, we encourage you to bring:

  • Your copy of the book (physical, digital, or audio — optional!)
  • A notebook or notes app if you like to jot things down
  • A cozy beverage and pjs!

You can join in on the Crafternoon via the Zoom link here.
