Elizabeth is from Cuyahoga Falls, OH, just a short drive from Cleveland. She shares her home with her boyfriend and their three fur babies—Flounder, a playful mini Bernedoodle, and two cats, Cyber and Max, who always keep things interesting.

A proud Falcon alum, Elizabeth graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and International Business. She currently serves as a Human Resources Business Partner for a healthcare system, where she recruits healthcare professionals and supports employees through challenges and concerns to help ensure a positive workplace experience.

Elizabeth was first diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in 2017, during her freshman year of college. Searching for guidance and connection, she discovered Girls With Guts, a community that helped her navigate the uncertainty of living with IBD. After years of treatment, her diagnosis shifted to Crohn’s disease in 2022. Throughout that journey, Girls With Guts provided understanding and encouragement in ways others in her life couldn’t—whether it was relating to symptoms, navigating new treatments, or finding strength in shared experiences. Today, Elizabeth is honored to give back to the community that continues to support her as she learns to live fully with IBD.
